Budgeting is the first step to successful control of planning and tracking your spending. Accredited counselors are committed to assisting you in the process. To succeed, you must stick to the budget. Be determined to follow through on your financial goals, individually or as a family.

Where and why do you spend?
How can you manage your money if you don’t write down where it goes? You have regular and periodic expenses and if you list everything, you will know how much money you need from month to month.

Make it happen.
Counselors help you to set up a customized budget based on your take-home income. Now, you have a clear plan that also allows you the flexibility to make changes as life happens. You will learn to:
  • Establish a savings plan
  • Set up an emergency fund
  • Shop wisely
  • Prioritize your needs
Timeline:
A budgeting session lasts one (1) hour. The one-on-one session is conducted face-to-face with a counselor or over the telephone. There is plenty of time for questions and answers.
